How to configure
- Plug the macropad into USB.
- Open this page in Chrome, Edge, or another Chromium-based browser (WebHID isn't in Safari or Firefox yet).
- Click Connect.
- Pick Matosic Macropad in the browser's permission prompt.
- Pick a layer (Base, Fn, User 1, User 2).
- Click any key to open the editor here.
- Choose a binding, hit Apply, then Save to keyboard.
Layers
- Base
- What every key does by default.
- Fn
- Hold the Fn key to temporarily access these bindings.
- User 1 / 2
- Empty slots — fill them with whatever you want.
For AI coders
Top-left key is ⇧⌃⌘4 by default —
macOS region screenshot. Pair it with ⌘V (the next key)
to feed screenshots into Claude / Cursor / ChatGPT.
